On-Track Safety

The Iowa Department of Transportation's On-TrackSM program addresses safety head on. Intelligent transportation system (ITS) projects and applications are currently being developed throughout the state, which focus on three core safety areas: traveler information, incident management/emergency services, and traffic monitoring/enforcement.
